“Yeah I’m packing my stuff I’ll be there in a bit.” the kung fu loving girl closed her phone and threw it on her bed, while heading towards her closet.
Chie grabbed a bag from inside her closet and proceeded to toss pajamas, toothbrush, EVERYTHING she needed for this sleep over. The week was a holiday which Chie was glad for, but at the same time Yukiko would probably be busy the rest of the week. Which was why she had to make the best out of today. The chariot was really excited Yukiko had just managed to get at least one day off for old times sakes.
Once she was finished she tossed the strap over her shoulder and shoved her cell phone in her pocket.
“I’m going mom!” She yelled in her house while closing the door shut behind her. The sun beat down on her face immediately causing her to lift an arm to block the rays.
Chie quickly made her way to the inn with thoughts of what they were going to do when they were there.
Chie was finally outside the inn and walked inside of it seeing a usual figure causing Chie to flash a smile. “Yo! I hope I didn’t make you wait that long!” Chie chimed wrapping her arm around her raven haired friend.
“Okay, great! I’ll see you soon!”
Yukiko hangs up her cell phone after hearing Chie hang up—it’s habit, picked up by years upon years of helping out at the front desk. Manners dictate that it is only polite for her to allow the other end to be the one to choose to disconnect, after all, and the sable-haired young woman is certainly polite. This extends to how she promptly tucks her phone into her skirt pocket before immediately setting about pulling out the spare futon that has pretty well become the Chariot’s out of her closet, arranging it next to her own with enough distance between them to be comfortable, but close enough to be able to have murmured conversations until the sun rises, if that’s how things wind up going. Once that’s done, she also fetches the robes and towels that both girls will need, a furtive glance given in either direction before she pulls down one of the plush VIP robes for her best friend to use, sneaking it into her room before one of the maids could spot her. She’s not supposed to do that, she knows… but Chie deserves it.
Only the best for my prince.
Ahh, that phrase… it’s become something of a mental in-joke to the heiress, an affectionate nickname that Yukiko hasn’t figured out how to use aloud. Chie likely wouldn’t be offended, but… a shake of her head dismisses the train of thought, one that she’s flat-out refused herself to have. Choosing instead to give herself a quick once-over, she ensures that her black blouse is tidy, the red ribbon tied in place around her neck just so and her tights are still free of runs before she heads downstairs. As it turns out, she’s not down there long before Chie shows up, the sight cause for a bright and cheerful smile.
“Not at all, Chie!”
Returning the hug, Yukiko chuckles softly.
“So the springs won’t be free for us to take over for a little bit… what do you wanna do first? After we get your stuff upstairs, I mean.”

“I had a couple of ideas…”
The admission is made almost shyly, Yukiko blushing faintly as she smiles at the trio of friends— although that smile quickly changes to an expression of mock-horror at Chie’s lack of manners.
“Ch-Chie..! Swallow before you speak!”
A faint chuckle.
Yu couldn’t help but share Yukiko’s laugh.
“Chie, you eat just like Yosuke. He nearly inhaled his first bowl…”
He paused and glanced at Yukiko. “What ideas did you have in mind?”
He blushed hearing them and finished his bowl “Yeah lets hear them”, he looked over at Yukiko.
Chie chuckled and then swallowed the good portion of the food in her mouth. “Ah Sorry.” She apologized. Chie wasn’t sure what idea her raven haired friend would hold, but she was curious as well. “Well hit us with your idea!”
“I’d believe it, Yu-kun.”
Yukiko nods a bit, another soft chuckle escaping her…that gets a bit louder when she notices how Yosuke’s blushing. Ah, she’d definitely believe that— she remembers when he wolfed down her tofu ramen that one time, after all. Gently nudging Chie’s shoulder with her own teasingly, the sable-haired female clears her throat before she speaks.
“Well, if you think about it… we’re all good at one traditional form of Japanese combat, right? I saw a special on these things called renaissance faires that they hold in America, celebrating their old ways of fighting and putting on shows… why don’t we do something similar?”

“Really..? That’s great, Yu-Kun!”
Yukiko smiles at the silverette as she nods, the ebon-haired female remaining silent as the server drops off the food that the trio ordered before her arrival. Murmuring an order of tofu bowl, she waits for the waiter to leave before she speaks up again.
“It will be nice, yes. We’ll just need to find a new project for us to focus on, is all. Maybe we could start a club..?”
“That sounds like a good idea, Yukiko. We’ll have to think about that.” Yu grinned and nodded.
((Your turn, Yosuke! :D))
“A club? Hey that sounds like an awesome idea!”, he beamed. Clearly he was in an awesome mood at the moment.
As the food was set in front of the chariot, she immediately clapped her hands together and dug into the food. Chie nodded at the idea of the club and tried to talk with her mouth open. “myf” when she clearly meant ‘yes’

“Great!”
Smiling, Yukiko settles on the seat next to Chie, a faint blush coloring her cheeks at being right next to the Chariot. Those feelings are something she manages to push down, though, in favor of nodding at the pair of males across from her.
“And hello, you two. I trust you both are well?”
“Yes, very.” Yu grinned. “I was just telling Chie here that I got permission from my parents to finish out the last year of high school in Inaba. I’ll be coming back to school after the holiday.”
He grinned, this was like old times and it made Yosuke happy. “Yeah it’s gonna be fun”, he smiled at Yu a slight blush coloring his cheeks.
“Except we wont have any murders to solve. That will be something to get used to.” Chie joked getting a bit impatient waiting for her food. She leaned on her elbows and stared ahead as her stomach rumbled.

“Did someone mention studying..?”
The inn heiress cants her head to one side as she approaches the trio, a bit of a smile tugging at her lips. Yukiko isn’t eager to study so much as she is keen to spend time with her friends, getting away from her responsibilities at the Amagi Inn in the process.
“Sorry, I couldn’t help but overhear. Is there room for one more?”
“Heh…” Yu smiled sheepishly. “I didn’t mean to dampen the mood. I don’t even have my books yet…or know who’s class I’ll be in.”
He blinked as another familiar voice came from behind them. “Yukiko!”
“Good to see you!”
“Don’t worry about it partner, hey Yukiko what’s up? And sure there’s always room for you guys!” He grinned, his good mood coming back.
“Oh! Hey Yukiko! You managed to get some time off?” The chariot chimed. Once Yukiko came in the feeling of happiness washed over her. “Take a seat!” Chie patted the seat next to her.
“Great!”

“Well, as soon as the holiday is over…” Yu hesitated, knowing how the both of them felt about school. “We’ve got to study for midterms…”
“I might actually need some help since I haven’t been here a month.”
“Ugh, you just had to bring that up”, he groaned but he knew it was true.
The word study came up and Chie drooped her head. “…Crap.” Studying was the last thing she wanted to do recently. Sure it would be easier after the murderers were solved, but it still stuck that she didn’t want to study.
